Location
- River Club is located approximately 1.5 miles east of I-75 on SR. 70 Exit 213E or off of University Parkway Exit 217E When you are driving and looking for the River Club Subdivision, take University Parkway East to Lakewood Ranch Blvd.(left or North) to left at the monument designating "River Club" on the left on River Club Blvd.
- River Club is conveniently close to Sarasota and Tampa! Its an easy 45 minute commute to the Tampa International Airport and only about 15 minutes to the Sarasota/Bradenton Airport.
- River Club is located just west of our neighboring community of Lakewood Ranch & enjoys many of the same recreational and shopping opportunities!
Golf
- Golf, Golf, Golf! River Club is home to an 18 hole championship public golf course, designed by Ron Garl. Both the 10th and 18th holes cross the Braden River and the 16th hole is the signature hole.
River Club golf course has always been known as a wonderfully designed & challenging course! River Club is within 20 minutes of a multitude of Golf Courses. 10 minutes to University Park C.Club Golf Course which is a semi-private course meaning you do not have to "belong" to play. 8 minutes to the Legacy Public Course at Lakewood Ranch offers pay as you play as well~There are plenty of golfing opportunities near River Club!
- At 7,026 yards, the Par 72 championship course has been well received in the Bradenton/Sarasota area.

- River Club is designated a Golfing Community. Golf carts can be used on all roads, except for the main thoroughfare, River Club Boulevard where golf cart paths are used.

- Creekwood Crossings is also located on the North side just west of the Interstate and is home to a large Beall's Store, restaurants and other shopping opportunities.
- To the South of River Club are the shopping & dining options at Market Square at Lakewood Ranch offering a Publix Super Market as an anchor store, dining, mailing, ice cream shop, florist and other shopping amenities.
- There are banks, many excellent restaurants and gasoline stations all within a mile or two from the River Club entrances.
- With all of the growth there will be many exciting options for dining & entertainment very close to home! San Marco's Plaza has opened! There will be other dining & shopping experiences offered at the San Marco Plaza which will be located within about 3 or 4 short minutes from River Club.
Utilities
- All utilities are underground!
- Electricity in the community is provided by Peace River Electric Cooperative, the telephone company is Verizon.
- Water, Sewer and Refuse service is provided by Manatee County Public Utilities.
- Cable Service is provided by Bright House & Road Runner internet service & Verizon FIOS is available.
- Generally, natural gas is not available in River Club with the exception of the newer Sanctuary area of the neighborhood. **Residents heat their pools with propane gas or solar if they do not have natural gas service.

- The River Club Homeowners Association, Inc. governs the community with covenants and restrictions which apply to all properties.
- Specific standards and guidelines ensure a pleasing residential appeal. All building and site plans for new construction, exterior remodeling and additions must be submitted for architectural review and approval.
Fees
- Annual homeowners fees are currently $608 with NO CDD fee's
These fees are used to maintain the entrances, irrigation, mowing of common areas, street signage and lighting, required water quality and storm water monitoring, new sidewalks, mail box maintenance and administration to name a few of the services. Additionally, there are other fees that may pertain to separate villages within the River Club development if additional services or benefits are provided therein.
Project Master Plan
- River Club encompasses over 1,000 acres with the Braden River transecting through the middle of the property. There are approximately 950 residences in the River Club Community!
- Community and land north of the Braden River are referred to as River Club North.
- Lands that are developed to the South of the Braden River are referred to as River Club South.
